Happy 4th of July!

I can't believe that tomorrow is July!  Kind of bittersweet in a way that it means summer is haflway over.  But it also marks the beginning of a week long celebration of the 4th of July and all things cherry: The National Cherry Festival.  I kind of look forward to the buzz around town, the pretty decorations, the fireworks, and fun activities.

Living downtown people decorate their houses in red, white, and blue.  I, however, did not this year.  Having a baby, working full time, and having 4-11 extra people in the house the past 2 weeks has consumed my time.  So hopefully I'll find some time to decorate using these pictures as inspiration!

Yesterday I talked about garland and bunting...this is the perfect way to bring it in as holiday decoration.

A vintage style tablescape in red, white, and blue...love!

More bunting

Tasteful decorations on an amazing house (I want this porch)!

More red, white, and blue tablescape with stars and stripes

I love the idea of using the American Flag as a curtain.

So to end my week I'd like to thank all of the men and women who served and who are serving our country to defend our freedom.  I am forever grateful!

Happy Fourth of July!  See you next week when I'll be featuring all things cherry!
